Happy New Year!! Happy 2012!
This is the biggest year for Oracle PIM Data Hub.
This is the biggest year for McKinley-Alexandra LLC.
There is so much benefit, growth, and opportunity in PIM Data Hub that this year will be a busy one.
I have already been selected to speak in April in Las Vegas at the Collaborate 2012.
The Oracle Applications Users Group (OAUG) is pleased to inform Bob that his presentation, “Item Integrity Rules and Data Governance in Oracle Product Information Management Data Hub.,” has been accepted as a session at the COLLABORATE 12 – OAUG Forum in Las Vegas, NV, April 22-26, 2012. http://collaborate.oaug.org/
December’s 2012 UKOUG event was a success with my biggest audience yet. I met a lot of new friends and old friends as well. I loved the UK Holiday parties. They are all so warm and special.

I love the Birmingham location of the event which is centered in the ICC (get it? PIM joke). I can’t wait to go to next year’s event.

The location of next UKOUG event was not disclosed online at the time of this blog article.
The Oracle OpenWorld Oracle booth was very friendly this year with Oracle PIM product people. Thanks to Jim Aliferis and a welcome back to the Product hub. Dan Power was present and a great networking person in the MDM world. Dan is the man in charge of the Hub Solution Designs company as well as runs an online magazine for MDM and Data Governance (http://hubdesignsmagazine.com/). I was able to meet with him and discuss directions of PIM Data Hub in the future. He was very optimistic.
I am very optimistic as well on the success of saving businesses lots of money and headaches in the year to come. PIM Data Hub proves to be a worthy value in its basic functionality across every industry I have come across. Until I find a company with no products, I will continue to see benefits.
The blog has been fantastic. I have had over 3000 readers so far.
To reiterate past articles, “We will create no gaps in functionality until we understand the functionality.” KNOWLEDGE TRANSFER!!!
Happy New Year!!!
Bob
