Oracle PIM Technical and Functional Contracting in demand

Hello Oracle PIM People,

You are in the right place at the right time.  There is an extremely high demand for those people who know Oracle PIM right now.  I could use several right now.

I have had a literal bombardment off my web site for requests for PIM contractors/consultants both functional and technical.

Some of the skill sets asked for were:

1) Functional Roles:

Team member in architecting the Oracle PIM 12.1.3 design for a very large product MDM initiative for a XXXXXXX service provider.  Assisted and advised the client project manager on resource planning and resource acquisition, building project plan, monitoring project activities, and day to day project reporting.

– Led the entire planning and direction of the PIM knowledge transfer and design through worksessions for the client PIM implementation team.  This involved taking business requirements such as product taxonomy, product security, product information update and creation business process flow, roles and responsibilities, proposed interfaces to product MDM spokes to the PIM data hub, and transferring all of these requirements into functional designs, configuration documentation (BR100), configuration of the system, use cases and scripts, as well as functional application extension documentation(MD-050s).

We have a new opportunity with a distribution company about 20K SKUs. They are thinking of using PIM as the source for ecommerce solution.

PLM Functional…R12…they need someone who has implemented it to show them the in’s and out’s of the module..they have gone to training, but they don’t really know enough.  They are open to training via Webinar

They are looking for someone who can help them further understand PLM (you should be an expert).  They already are familiar with the product, but not all of the functionalities:

Import Items
Product Workbench
Workflow to set up ECO approvals, requests, etc.

They would need you to train them on the set up of these functions.

There are immediate needs to fill these types of contractor positions all around the world.

If you are interested in being an Oracle PIM consultant, you can see the skills required above.  Let me know if you want to pursue it.

I could use people that have the experience.  If you do not have the experience then you will need to apprentice under an expert.  It is a skill that takes some time to acquire.

The best candidates with no prior PIM experience have Oracle Inventory, Bill of Material, and Engineering experience.

Order Management and Purchasing experts will have minor learning curve as well.

Without Oracle ERP/E-Business experience, the next best skills/experience are Windchill, Agile, PLM/PIM in other tools, Product MDM solutioning and other product tools and experience.

Prodika is a hot commodity as well.

Would love to speak to you if you are ready for the road….
